the bar was nicely decorated. unusual cocktails were available. skipping housekeeping earned a drinks voucher, i chose this environmental option. breakfast included a lot of choice.

the design of the accessible shower room could be better, i noticed water spilled out into the room.

Superb Stay with Chic Vibes

I found the hotel's artistic style quite charming. The location suited my needs well. I easily accessed the city center and Christmas markets. A supermarket next door offered convenient access to snacks and drinks. I really appreciated that. The nearest U-Bahn station was also just a minute away. I made use of this several times.

The pillows were a little too soft for my preference.

Breakfast offered a decent selection. I definitely found some things I liked. The coffee was particularly great, and I had several cups each morning. I also appreciate the bar area. It was perfect for winding down in the evenings.

I appreciated the hotel being close to Belgisches Viertel, a vibrant area. Despite its central position, the building felt nicely tucked away from the street noise. The proximity to various restaurants and bars was certainly a plus. I went out every night.

The location was great, near the UBahn, and also a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof. Breakfast was good too.

The room was not very clean, i noticed this upon arrival. I was informed that there was no parking space. this proved incorrect after I checked again later, this was quite annoying. It all felt pretty disappointing.

you cant call reception from your room using a cell and there isnt a phone provided. there is no real reception desk, just someone at the bar. i had to sign in on a computer and it was confusing. the room wasnt cleaned as promised even after i asked.

a few issues encountered

no minibardisruptive noise

i found some aspects disappointing my room lacked basic amenities like a minibar and face cloths the layout was unusual with the bathroom feeling exposed there was also loud music and shouting from staff quarters early one morning on a sunday that disturbed my sleep attempts to contact reception proved difficult because there was no phone in the room
